OpenLife: a word about the project

As this is a weblog about developments in software, I’ll tell about the OpenLife project.

OpenLife (earlier in concept phase called Ospes, or “Open Source People Simulator”), is an answer to The Sims and EA’s DRM restrictions.

As 3D rendering engine it is going to use Irrlicht, and OpenLife will be mostly written in Python, with only a small core in C++.
